Bruinen Os is a high fermentation craft beer, brewed in limited quantity at brewery Bourgogne Des Flandres in Bruges. It offers the powerful taste of an authentic Flemish Brown Ale, both strong and sweet, with a beautiful dark ruby-like, slightly cloudy, colour.

Had a draft from the brewery in Bruges. Color is a rich dark brown with a significant head. Nose is strong with spice notes and caramel roastiness. Taste is smooth, slightly tart, malty and sweet. Lots of plum, raisins and caramel. A nice if not wonderful beer. Strikes me as good but nothing fancy.

Copenhagen 10/3 2022. 33 cl bottle from Beerdealer web-shop. Red version of Bourgogne des Flandres strange tower design.
Pours clear amber with a red hue and a mid-sized white head m. Settles as a thin unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a slightly vinous odor of sweet sherry with a light tart twist. Sweet chocolate, caramel and sweet apples. Tart notes of citrus and unripe berries.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a lighter tart sourness. Lingers for a bit. Finish semi-dry.
Not very sour for a Sour Flemish.

On tap at the brewery in Bruges.
Pours a brownish red with fine, thick foam.
Smell is slightly sweet and malty, with notes of cherries and raisins.
Taste is a bit more subdued thah I expected, given the ABV. Nice woody notes mingle with some raisins, cherries and vanilla.
Mouthfeel is medium and a bit chewy, well carbonated.
Overall, a nice beer, that is dangerously drinkable for the ABV.

Poured from tap at the brewery in Brugge. Pours a burgundy to dark brown, with a nice white head. Nose is sweet cherries, a tad funky, and nutty. Fairly subtle. Taste is caramel, vanilla, bread, and wood. Definitely getting nuts on the taste as well. Maybe a bit of funk in there. Definitely a subtle taste as well. I was expecting something a bit more bold. Mouthfeel was quite creamy, and the alcohol was well hidden.
