Was gifted a 0.33l bottle of this from Gerhardt at Café Abseits, and I quaffed it in Maastricht on 24SEP16.
Quaffed from a Teku, this IPA was a tawny, muted golden-bronze color. Had a sizable dollop of light tan, mousse-like foam up top which sat quite well, and lacing was top-shelf. Aroma brought forth some rindy citrus notes. The bier was fairly smooth going down, with a medium body.
Tasted a touch crackery at first, with lots of rindy, pithy bitterness. Had some pineapple and grapefruit, plus a hint of offsetting apricot sweetness. Finish is dry and gets back to being quite bitter. Decent, but not earth-shattering. Prosit!
