Got a growler of this yesterday at the brewery on one of their $5 growler fill Sundays. Poured into one of my weizen glasses, this beer pours a hazy/cloudy, dark amber/copper/brown color with a slightly tan/off-white head that's about an inch thick when poured that settles to an overall very thick crescent ring lining the inside of the glass s with some film layer cluster swirls of surface foam and good lacing. Aromas of bready, somewhat toasted, caramel malt sweetness along with nice hints of banana, clove, and bubblegum. The taste is pretty much the same, with somewhat toasted, caramel malt sweetness that's followed by some of banana and clove notes that's rounded out with a bubblegum. Spot on flavor wise for the style I'd say. Not really any discernible hop presence of course. Has a slightly crisp, mainly smooth and creamy, medium mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish and a bready, mildy sweet aftertaste. A good one here.
