I got a 6pck of cans of this beer from the old Convenient Store in used to frequent as a kid in Mentor, Ohio. It poured a slightly hazy golden with thin white ring head that is not leaving much lace. The scent and taste had bitter pine and citrus presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Brother from Sagamore Hills in Ohio sent one to me recently. No date found on the can. Can't say it was one in my usual wheelhouse of beers, but it wasn't all that bad.

L: Foamy, Orange. Lace sticky and lasting when head went away
S: Faint pine and more juicy fruit. Not much else
M: Mild cream feel and bitter on the sides of the tongue and dry end
T: Bigger ABV does not mean more boozy. Actually quite balanced with pine and grapefruit. Maybe a slight orange flavor but balanced and well, you can enjoy the booze backbone.
O: I can see why this was released to stores. I didn't expect an imperial but 8.0 ABV yet balanced flavor means you could get into trouble with this one. I'll get it again.

First time trying this from a can. Only had on tap at brewery before and it’s been awhile
L: dark gold almost copper with a thick foamy head and lots of lacing
S: smells good. Not exactly sure what though
T: spicy pepper with a crisp pine bite. Old school IPA. Very well crafted
F: crisp and clean
O: really enjoying this local brew. It’s been awhile since I’ve had it but it won’t be long until I enjoy another!

I've taken that dead man's curve after which this is named thousands of times. It's an appropriate namesake for an aipa.
It pours a little dark with tons or nice lacing. The aroma is pronounced, hoppy and a little skunky. The taste is a nice old school IPA with over the top hops giving a nice bitterness that doesn't seem to go to far in any direction - it never offends. The aftertaste is a pleasant burp.
Recommended.

Got a growler of this at the brewery yesterday evening, as growler fills on Sundays are only $5.00 at the brewery. Poured into one of my tulip glasses, this beer pours a clear medium to dark golden color with some nice streams of little bubbles fairly rapidly and continuously rising to the beer's surface and fluffy looking white head that's about an inch thick when first poured that settles to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with a huge, thick cluster swirl of foam in the middle of the beer's surface and a pretty solid film layer of foam on the rest of the beer's surface. Good lacing here. Aromas of some biscuity malts with a hint of caramel sweetness that gives way to big fruit notes of peach and orange and some piney hop notes. The taste if pretty much the same, with some biscuity malts with a bit of caramel sweetness along with piney and citrus hop notes with orange and grapefruit followed by some peach and mango notes that give just the right amount of hop bitterness. A very nice flavor profile overall. Has a crisp, slightly syrupy and chewy, slightly smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish with a slightly dry aftertaste and all the flavors like to linger on my palate for awhile after each sip. A good beer here.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/23/2018. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is an awesome IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Spot on Azacca/El Dorado profile. Lots of tropical/stone fruits. Very juicy, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; sizable malt backbone, but not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and well made Midwest style example.
