Having this beer on tap at the brewery. Served in a standard pint glass, this beer draws a clear, medium to dark golden color with a very nice white head that’s an inch thick when drawn and served. Head eventually settles to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with a nice big cluster swirl of film layer surface foam and very nice lacing. Aromas of some lightly toasted, slightly zesty, bready malts and some herbal, earthy, piney hop notes. A very similar flavor profile, with some lightly toasted, slightly zesty, bready malts w/ a hint of caramel sweetness that’s followed by some herbal, earthy, piney hop bitterness. Good balance of flavors. Nothing truly dominates here in terms of one flavor overpowering any of the others. Has a crisp, smooth, slightly frothy/creamy, light to medium bodied mouth feel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish and excellent drink ability. A very nice beer here overall.
