Located in downtown Butler, ample street parking. Looks like a reimagined industrial building. Still retains some of the vibe, updated with soem modern fixtures and glass.Good service, prompt. Untappd list is not accurate, so get the paper taplist. A mish mash of styles, average quality.

Great little place, I grab lunch there too. Try the Sloppy Joe or Chicken Tenders, and wash down with Sour Gose beer. Brent gives excellent service.

Butler Brew Works has a great vibe, good food, great service and decent enough beer. My wife and I have visited numerous times and find the beer to be usually pretty good. They are working hard to improve and need to keep their high standards of friendly service while focusing upon improving the quality of their beers. I certainly hope they can succeed, profit and establish themselves as a place to get good beer.

From prior experiences before they opened I've had a chip on my shoulder about this place, but since they've been open, I really haven't had any bad experiences.
The food has been consistently good, and the service is great. The staff here is professional and informed/informative.

My two negatives about BBW:
1. Pricing - it's Butler not Lawrenceville.
Some of the prices on the beer area little heavy especially for the market. Butler isn't some thriving town. It's an old mill town with a heroin problem. The pricing of food and beer doesn't hit the median for craft beer vs the market. It's a little in the high side but fortunately not atrocious, or unreasonable. But that considered it doest make it the routine visit.
2. The beer itself.
This is one of long standing problems I've had with BBW. The beer (especially for what you pay) is for the most part, lackluster.
The reliability of quality craft beer isn't here yet. Grated I have had some great beers here, it's just not consistent.

All in all its a neat place with a good food menu and decent beer. You may be in luck to have an exceptional ale every so often.
