Apple Crumb Cake has a thick, fizzing-away, off-white head, an initially clear, bubbly golden appearance, with minimal glass lacing. This ale clouds up, to an opaque, gray-tan-beige cloudy thing. The aroma is of spicy, acidic apple notes, with back-ground malt. Flavor is of acidic, apple skins, a shadow of cinnamon, tart features, and malt. Bitterness is not in play, here. Mouthfeel is medium, and Apple Crumb Cake finishes dry. RJT

Interesting beer and quite enjoyable for a craft beer drinker
who likes a spicy, cinnamon, cake like taste.
Honey color, carbonation bubbles from the bottom, 4F head.
Aroma is okay, light spice.
Relatively smooth MF, not very carbonated.
Great taste. Cinnamon, spice, like a cake.
Excellent beer. True to Decadent brewing style- out of the ordinary.

16 oz. Can
ABV: 8.6%
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy dark yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, mango, apple, papaya, peach), vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, nice little diesel like. The taste is pretty nice hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, mango, apple, peach, papaya), nice little touch of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, pretty nice little diesel like, nice little sweetness. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew. Orange Julius! Addictive! Milk Shake! Nice to see it around here.

Pours a hazy yellow custard with a thin, white head.
Apple, cinnamon, malt, lemongrass smell.
Apple, cinnamon and crumb taste up front. Fading to a bitter hop. Certainly uniique.

CAN: 16 fl oz pull tab nabbed for something like $5 USD at a beer store in New Orleans, LA. Canned 10/11/19.
"Double India Pale Ale with Apple Puree [sic] and Cinnamon." "Mosaic dry hopped..." 8.6% ABV.
Nails the apple flavour it's after but not necessarily the cinnamon (it's more Cassia, and faint at best). Not hop emphatic enough to merit the imperial IPA designation.
Finishes marvelously apple puree/compote-redolent with a nice level of sweetness. Balanced throughout with a pleasant overall flavour, but there's no way in hell this could be fairly regarded as an imperial IPA given its obvious lack of sufficient hop flavour.

A: The beer is hazy dark yellow in color. It poured with just a narrow ring of white bubbles around the edge of the glass and lots of specks of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light aromas of applesauce with a dash of cinnamon are present in the nose.
T: The taste is a little sweet and has applesauce-like flavors along with hints of cinnamon. No alcohol is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer tastes more like applesauce than apple crumb cake to me (I didn't get the crumb cake part of it) but in any event it does a remarkable job at hiding any traces of alcohol from the taste.
