Decanted for a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a custom tasting pint glass; canned on 05/31/2019 and purchased at the brewery yesterday - code AMBROSIA.
A: Pours an opaque, golden-orange color (think dull brass) with a less than one inch, white head, spotty islands of retention and limited, although not absent lacing. Clumps of grey-tan yeast evident during the end of pour and at the bottom of the glass.
S: Aromas of nectarine, lime, grapefruit, and a bit of caramel. Slightly piney and resiny with being funky.
T: Semisweet to semidry. Flavors lean toward caramel, lime zest, and oat grains. Substantial bitterness present throughout.
M: Medium bodied with low effervescence. Creamy on the palate (no doubt from the oats).
O: Enjoyable and very drinkable. I have to say this is the first canned Decadent Brewing product I have actually been able to enjoy.
