Once again, a pin point technique, quality and recipe formulation prove to be spot on when employing use of blackberries, Mosaic hops, exotic sugars and vanilla piled high on hazy IPA it's just too much to dismiss. Decadent Ales continue to make milkshake IPAs that rock
Commonly silten with a cereal hazy and set in a pastel gold appearance, the frothy ale swirls with an abundance of blackberries and a bold scent of sweet cream that suggests a hop accented fruit smoothie. A light herbal character and tropical nuances reinforce a more beery notion before its taste comes with cream candy, cobbler and honey glazed cereal.
As the flavors soak the middle palate, a slow fade of malt sweetness leads to a premiere blackberry flavor. A robust taste seeming to share complementary fruit flavors of blueberry, raspberry, black cherry and with a tang of orange precedes a hop filled flavor of passionfruit, grapefruit and pineapple that rounds out the flavors on the middle palate. An herbal and peppery late taste comes way of black tea, sassafras, fresh spruce tips and chive with a balance of sweet cream.
Medium bodied but lessening its malty weight with a light berry acidity and the mild tangy vinous nature of the hops, the beer trends malty dry with a spice of gin radiating from a firm alcohol spice. A linger of berry juices and cereal aid the balance while keeping the taste succulent and truly decadent.

This sure wasn't what I was expecting, but it is a pleasant surprise.
This pours a little ugly in color (deep yellow) with huge medium sized bubble head that dies down eventually. It smells a bit of blueberry (not so much the vanilla) and almost not at all from the usual ale smells - just a tad. It's OK, just not double AIPA. No booze smell either.
The taste is like the smell, a well behaved AIPA, plus a light edge from the vanilla and a fruity blueberry undertone that complements the mild ale tastes. The booze is very well stashed under this. It is an excellent experience.
Highly recommended. A bit overpriced, but I don't have to look at the prices, right?
PS
I poured out the second half of the can and it was a completely different brew! Here were mountains of sediment (it was CLEAR before) - this is thick. It is WAY better too.

Initial reaction right away is the smell and appearance doesn’t land on the name of this beer. And up front taste is sweet, like it was a good NEIPA blended with berry soda. Then you get the smell after drinking. Very drinkable however! Ez to solo dome. I wouldn’t go for this beer if you’re expecting any kind of “bomb” like berry cream pop juice bomb. But it’s a nice NEIPA style ipa with a hint of berry vanilla flavor.
