16oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 6.29. Canned 8/14/18. Served in an oversized Bruery snifter. Enjoyed 9/13/18.
Pours a bright straw yellow with a couple fingers of fluffy white head.
Smells of pineapple, orange zest, stone fruit and faint berries.
Tastes a bit more bitter than expected but not distractingly so. Pineapple rind, grapefruit, seedy berries, vague tropical pulp and some fuzzy stone fruit.
Lush medium feel with moderate carbonation. The aftertaste is fruity and fairly bitter with impressions of tropical and citrus fruits.
I’m a sucker for fruit-infused IPAs and Decadent Ales doesn’t disappoint. Tropical Smoothie marries Citra and fruit well. Glad I gave this one a shot.

Opaque bright yellow with a small white head. Good retention and spotty lacing.
Smells like mango, peach, orange, and pineapple. Very fruit, but smells more like the Citra hops than the fruits additions.
Tastes like mango, peach, orange, and pineapple. Sugar cookie, dough, and vanilla in the middle for the malt backbone. Just a hint of the strawberry on the finish, I think. Lightly sweet but finishes gently dry.
Creamy and soft mouthfeel, lightly carbonated.
A really nice fruited Citra IPA. Very fruity and enjoyable.

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 08/14/18
Over 5 months on this can.
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, mango, peach, strawberries), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is pretty nice hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, mango, pineapple, peach, strawberries), pretty nice diesel like, nice little sweetness. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake! Nice to see it around here, cheaper though.

Opaque light orange brew, completely hazy, and topped by a strong snow-white head. Retention is outstanding and lacing is excellent, as well.
Big pineapple notes on the nose, along with strawberry, peach, mango, and mandarin orange. Although all but the last one are added fruit, the overall profile isn't particularly different than what you often get in a modern, no-fruit IPA. Light pepper and green leafy herbs.
Flavor follows: smooth, moderately sweet, bright, herbal, hoppy, and fruity. The sweet fruit flavors really come on stronger during the back half, first pineapple, then strawberry, with peach throughout. Up front, vanilla and a sweet white-bread-like malt base provide a canvas for leafy herbal hop notes.
Smooth and creamy feel; a delight to drink.

Pours a hazed gold with 3 fingers of of fluffy pearl colored head. Hazes more as the can is drained, great lacing & head retention
S: Tropical fruits, a little breadyness
T: Mango & orange, a touch of grapefruit as well, dryness up front. Grapefruit & sweet orange as this warms, just a touch of peach too, pineapple as well. Finishes dry with grapefruit, tangerine & mango & just a just a little dryness
MF: Medium body, creamy carbonation, lovely balance
Pretty drinkable, but not next level for this style; flavors don't marry together as well I had hoped Still worth a go
