Had on tap. Pours opaque, dark black in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is big Oatmeal Cookie, raisins, cinnamon. Heavy body, low carbonation, slightly sweet. Really reminds me of the cookie. Excellent stout.

Served in a teku glass from the can.
Appearance: Thick black colored body with a dark trash head which obviously rose barely quarter of a fingers length off the body. Zero stickiness on the flag as the beer settles.
Smell: Cinnamon and raisin in the nose. Light songs which dissipates sooner than you think.
Taste: Complex sweet. Brown sugar with a light cinnamon which compliments the beer. Molasses and grape jelly.
Mouth: Sticky brew. Has
Overall: Good brew. I mean seriously. Complex flavors which seriously gives these pastry stouts a run for their money. Always in a glass, Salud!

16 oz can, with great artwork, canned on 10/25/19, into Thulsa Doom. Got this in Huntsville, AL I believe.
A really dark syrupy black emerges from the can and fills the void of the glass to complete blackness. The head is fingernail thin and almond colored.
Aroma is of general sweetness and general roastiness co-mingling. I suppose I do get a little oatmeal and raisin, but it skews more towards the chocolate/roast malts and lactose powder. Some alcohol here too. Actually smells a lot like an Evil Twin beer and that's sexy to me.
Flavor is like what I imagine an oatmeal raisin cookie shot would taste like. It's heavy and boozy like a liqueur. I get the oatmeal and raisin, some perfumey tones, and some bright citrus...but it's by and large what you'd expect from a dessert-style shot. But I got 16 oz of it.
Feel is sticky and slick with a heavy carbonation and a hell of an alcohol hit. Drying and burning on the finish like rubbing alcohol.
Overall, it's not poorly made, but it is rather linear. This is definitely the beer version of a dessert-style liqueur shot. That's the best I can describe it.
Price paid : $4.99 a can
Would buy again : Possibly

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours nearly pitch black, appearing opaque black in the glass with a thin chocolate brown head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, caramel, raisins, dark chocolate and graham cracker. Flavor follows with dark toasted malt with light char, raisins, caramel, mild cocoa and graham cracker. Dark, toasted malt and oatmeal cookie finish. There are a few other pastry flavors here, but they did a good job with the oatmeal cookie character. I'm getting caramel and graham cracker too, but they are a good fit with the cookie concept. Oddly, I've just had two beers in a row with the oatmeal cookie flavors; this one was intended, the Breakside French Quarter last night was intended to be a cherry liqueur style, but had a cookie finish. They are very different beers, this is clearly a pastry stout and has a much deeper malt body, but great to have the same influence in the finish. A fine pastry (cookie) stout. Nicely done.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a very small, light brown head of foam. It smelled of oatmeal, toffee, caramel and dried fruit. Sweet chocolate, toffee and raisin taste with a boozy heat.
