Copenhagen 14/7 2019. 47,3 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. False Teeth chasing a Frosted Pastry on the can. As Weird as it Gets.
Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Settles as thin layer of foam almost managing to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense, very sweet and with a strange bitterness in the shadows. Sugar, might be some berries soaked in sugar, candy, cloves, cinnamon and a ouch of vanilla.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, greasy texture.
Flavor is very sweet followed by a lighter spicy bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a rough bitterness peeking in in the finish. Light boozy after burn.
Another strange Pastry Beer mixing the sugary pastry with a rough bitterness. More innovative than good. But it is hard to blame a Desset beer for being overly sweet.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a yellow / orange color and a cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: An enticing aroma of maple syrup, blueberries, hops, malt, marshmallows, and citrus fruit.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish), lots of marshmallows (quite sweet), a relatively small amount of hops (for the style), a ton of maple syrup (a big force), a hint of citrus fruit (grapefruit) a little cinnamon, and some blueberries as well. A super sweet, but wholly likable flavor. It borders on being cloying, but steps back from the edge. Tasty.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a somewhat syrupy finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This beer won't be for everyone, but if you're adventurous, give it a shot. Drinkable.

-IIPA w/ blueberries, cinnamon and all spice.
A: Murky dark tangerine orange has a pea soup density, a heavy protein haze with a lot of suspended solids dancing softly in the moderate carbonation. The crown is the milky froth topping that is long lasting, smooth, and leaves multiple thick stratified rings down the vessel walls.
S: Sweet sugary blueberries, raspberry pop-tart with some cinnamon sweetness. Some fresh wet apple yeastiness, has a good scent overall, and holds well.
T: The flavor was blueberries and cinnamon being prominent, sweet and sugary. Some pancake malt and maple syrup sweetness. Apple-plum esters with a finish of semi-dry citrus-peach hops.
M: Medium body, a bit light, devoid of any carbonation texture. Dry berry fruitiness coats the tongue.
O: Overall the flavor reminds me of an old school pop tart, blueberry and cinnamon sweetness with some pancake like malting. Sweet sugary blueberries is home for a morning beer while camping. Props as always for innovation, a generally good execution and intention, a dessert style type beer, limited to one. Drink ability slows a bit mid drink. Not really a fan of blueberry beers, but the pastry aspect adds sweetness. Decadent does like to experiment with off the wall flavors and concepts.

A: a hazy orange Amber in color, and a large white head that series rather quickly.
S: slightly sweet around with a touch of Berry light malt, and fruit.
T: yeah ok. I want sure about this when I saw it on the shelf, but I'm on board. Biscuit and bread with light spice, and a hint of berry, fine work.
M: medium thick with moderate carbonation.
O: overall enjoyable, even works as a gimmick.

Pouring from a 16 oz. can into a snulip glass, this beer pours out a rather ugly, dark, murky orange. It formed a pinky width of eggshell colored bubbles on top and has big chunks of sediment floating throughout.
The nose is somewhat tame and underwhelming but it does show some blueberry and marshmallow if you dig deep.
The taste brings in the blueberry, along with a pie crust like background. Maybe a slight marshmallow fluff sweetness. Still seems to be pretty muted.
The mouthfeel is full and creamy, smooth; no ABV showing but a slight hop sting.
Overall, this one brings good flavor. It’s just ugly looking and the nose is really muted with the flavor not being much more giving either. Not bad by any means though.

I have said this before, but I'm not an IPA guy, but this one definitely is swaying me.
Look: poured nicely with moderate head that lasted about two minutes and faded fast with drinking. Nice lacing. Rich apricot color with significant suspended haziness.
Aroma: Smelled like a mild IPA with hops but not overpowering. I couldn't detect the blueberries, cinnamon nor allspice on the nose.
Taste: Very pleasant and easy to drink. Not as bitter as most IPAs and not as crisp, but complex. I could detect the cinnamon on the slightly sweet aftertaste. I was searching for the blueberries and if I didn't know it was there, I wouldn't have identified it on my own. Very smooth for an IPA. Very little bite.
Overall: probably my favorite IPA to date but maybe because of how different it was from other IPAs I have reviewed.

A: The beer is very hazy brownish yellow in color. It poured with some lacing of white bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of maple syrup are present in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste has flavors of maple syrup (with associated sweetness) and has notes of donut-like pastry crust.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer tasted just like the brewery's Strawberry Frosted Pastry and didn't really have any fruity flavors. It makes for a good dessert beer, but the name is somewhat misleading.

Sweet tropical nose with hint of maple. This is different...almost an in between of hazies and west coast. Taste follows the nose with blueberry and a slightly malty maple syrup vibe. Good body and mouthfeel. I appreciate the outside the box approach!
