16 ouncer, with "canned 11/04/20" stamped on the bottom.

The pour here is jet black, dark mocha cap, leaving some fine bits, spots, bars of lacing and low fine bubble sheeting on the glass.

Dark chocolate, mocha, vanilla and smoked chili on the sniff.

On the palate its a load of dark malts, dark chocolate, fudge brownie, and again light chili peppers in the finish...all this in a super smooth package and with the 11% super well hidden....fine creation....go get some

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a wide collar of tan bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of maple syrup are present in the nose along with hints of chili pepper and cinnamon.
T: Like the smell, the taste starts off with flavors of maple syrup with associated sweetness but transitions over to spicy chili peppers that linger into the finish. Throughout the taste, there are underlying notes of chocolate and dark malts along with notes of vanilla.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. The chili peppers lend some heat to the mouthfeel, particularly in the finish.
O: This stout has an interesting contrast between sweet maple syrup and spicy chili peppers, all the while doing a very good job at masking nearly all traces of alcohol from the taste.
