Double Whipped Strawberry Cream Pop

Decanted for 16 oz (355 ml) can into a Sam Adams custom taster; canned on 10/25/19, code STRAWBERRY.
A: Pours a hazy, dark golden color with very robust head formation, leaving a 2 to 3 finger, off-white head, more than rim retention, but very little lacing.
S: Tart side of tangy. Aromas of caramel, corn, and strawberry.
T: Tart and more semisweet than semidry. Flavors favor the nose, strawberry very much in evidence. Strong Pixie Stix flavor with minimal bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate, long term carbonation.
O: This is a very good representation of strawberry in a beer. That said, like many canned Decadent dessert offerings, I find a subtle, slightly off-putting sweet taste, which is always absent from tap version. Overall, not bad and those who tried it with me enjoyed it.

Pours hazy, gold i color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is peach, blackberry, raspberry, and faint strawberry. Medium bodied, sweet, with moderate carbonation. Can was produced on 10/25 so perhaps the strawberry taste when first canned. Still a tasty beer but not as enjoyable as the orange cream pop.

AlexSergio gave me this beer through a trade, many thanks. The beer is 45 degrees and served in a tulip glass. The pour on the beer produced a two finger head with fair retention. The head dissipated slightly slowly and left some lacing on the glass. The head on the beer is bright white frothy and creamy. The color of the beer is SRM 4 a pale gold color and amber hues. The beer is a touch hazy.

The aromas in the beer are milk, berries, lemons, oranges, grapefruit, lightly toasted malts, sweet sugar notes, grassy, and bready.

The flavors in the bee are grapefruit, berries, lemons, oranges, pine, resin lightly toasted malts, grassy, bready, cream, strawberries, and sweet honey note.

The mouthfeel of the beer is carbonated and creamy.

The body of the beer is full, medium-plus carbonation, and a medium finish.

Oh wow! This beer is something else. The DIPA in this beer is weak. The beer is a solid IPA at best. This funky beer has the strawberries and cream comes through on the backend. The achieved what they wanted for this beer.

16 oz can sent from alexsergio dated 1/22/19 poured into Boiler snifter.

Nice golden color with good definition and clarity, with a thin ring of head 1/2 finger tall.

Aroma of fresh hops bringing slight grass along with strawberry, citrus, melon, and sweet vanilla beans.

Flavor brings slight pine and grass with caramel, brown sugar, soft strawberry candy notes and slight vanilla.

Feel is hot with alcohol, slight resins, good dose of creaminess, crisp yet parching finish.

Overall these Decadent IPAs often leave me with palate confusion. I want to taste something sweeter, dessert-like; instead I get a piney hoppy IPA with some cake in the background. Like eating cake and drinking an IPA at the same time.
