Gose style beer brewed with a touch of lime zest. In this variant we added a heavy dose of raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries reminiscent of a berry sorbet.

5 oz pour on tap. Tons of berry flavor with a hint of lime and moderate tartness. Not an over-the-top beer, surprising for a Decadent Ales offering. (Thank you for not ruining this beer with vanilla!)

If you think that all Decadent Ales are insulin shocking sweetness disguised as some sort of IPA, then think again. The tartness, succinct flavor and complex fruitiness of their berry soaked gose shows that they are much more than just sugar and cream.

Pouring nearly blood red in color, there's no mistaking Wildberry Sorbet's fruits. Siding slightly on the hues of lavender and pink, a frothy wheaten head builds on the rim and draws in the senses with jaw tightening tartness of citrus, wine and succulent berry fruits with a hint of burlap scented must. Hard candy and saltwater taffy frame the beer's candied sweetness upfront with a juiciness usually reserved for fruit punch.

The acidity of the Germany styled sour ale begins to wash the sweetness and breadiness off of the middle palate as the full berry medley springs to lift. Raspberries, strawberries, blackberries and blueberries all make a huge jammy impact on taste but without the sweetness of jellies or jams. Green apple, lime, gooseberry, yuzu and tamarind sourness ensure that the late palate is pleasantly acidic with the berries giving strong impressions of fruited red wines with a light earthen must of sourdough and weathered woods.

Medium bodied for sour ale, the beer's strong acidity is far more sour than is required for gose and its fruit impression overtakes anything resembling wheat, salt or coriander-like, but the beer's hard-to-identify base taste is easily made up for by the acute tartness and the berry punch.

Appearance - Pours dark reddish color with a huge pink head excellent retention. Stings of lacing.

Aroma - No need to even get the glass close before the raspberry comes out. I cannot say that I pick up all the fruit in this but the raspberry and blackberry I really pick up. Light vanilla as well.

Taste - Really tart other than the raspberry nothing really singles itself out for me. Not as much vanilla but a good bit of salt which I like.

Feel - Light bodied, slightly prickly carbonation pretty dry finish.

Overall - Really well done Gose great flavors crushable and easy drinking.

Pours a ruby red color, hazy, ample micro carbonation, creamy pink bead. Light raspberry aroma. Great raspberry / strawberry flavor, light, not too sweet, nice little sour pucker at the end. Very light and refreshing, would buy again. Wish it was a little lighter abv.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 6/2019. Pours very hazy deep ruby red/orange, light pink/purple color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky light pink head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge juicy/tart/tangy raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, fruit jam/skin/seed, lemon, lime, citrus zest, orange, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of berries, lemon zest, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge juicy/tart/tangy raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, fruit jam/skin/seed, lemon, lime, citrus zest, orange, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy berries, lemon, lime, citrus zest, orange, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of berries, lemon zest, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no cloying/puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tartness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly acidic/tangy/tannic, and lightly saline mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is an incredible fruited gose! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of berries, lemon zest, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; fantastically soft feel, not overly lactic/salty. Fantastic balance of super juicy/jammy berries and Lacto complexity; with a great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Light residual sweetness with lingering acidic/tangy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazingly spot on style example.
