Pours a deep dark black with little to no foam or lacing. Aroma is spot on in it smells like an oatmeal rasin cookie, would have rated it higher but the peanut butter was kind of faint imo. Taste has a nice sweet maltiness with a subtle chocolatey flavor and notes of dark fruit, rasins, cinnamon, banana, and peanut butter (again faint). Mouthfeel is spectacular, with a pleasant mild bitterness. Overall a great beer and dangerously drinkable given ABV. Cheers!

Wasnt sure what to expect here but I think I had sort of a PB&J idea in the back of my mind. You definitely get peanut butter right up front in both smell and taste. The raisin aspect gets a little lost in the mix and I didnt smell or taste raisin specifically but instead got sort of mild, dark fruit blast, more like currant than raisin IMO. Its big and robust in flavor, a little light in the mouth which probably saves it from being overwhelming. Its boozy but hides the ABV well and although definitely on the dessert side of the spectrum, you dont need to sparingly sip this; go ahead and take a drink. Good beer!

Canned on 1/28/20. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours almost black; small dark khaki head that fades quickly leaving little to no retention and no lacing. The aromas have hints of banana, peanut butter, vanilla frosting and chocolate. Subtle and mild spice. Malts are there. The flavors are nice. More banana and peanut butter. More chocolate and vanilla. Hints of cinnamon. Some raisins and dark fruits. Moderate to low bitterness. There's a balanced sweetness to this one, but it's not cloying or anything crazy. Solid malt backbone. Finishes with a mild warmth, but the alcohol is ultimately well hidden considering the ABV. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of full-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's thin, sharp, smooth and dangerously drinkable.
This is a really nice imperial stout. The peanut butter and oatmeal raisin cookie aspects don't disappoint. It has an obvious dessert vibe going on. It's bold, but balanced. It's very enjoyable and fun to drink. Well done. I really like it.
