Decanted from an 16 oz (473 ml) can into a conical pint glass; canned 10/02/2020, code OKTOBERFEST..
A: Pours a hazy amber color, with a one finger, foamy, egg shell white head, rim retention, and decent rings of sticky lacing.
S: Aromas of grasses, particularly dry, sweet hay, lemon, caramel, and honey.
T: More semidry than semisweet. Flavors follows the nose, but the malty character, i.e. caramel, is much more evident. Subtle, licorice aftertaste. Balanced, refreshing bitterness. Really a nice counterpoise.
M: Light to medium bodied with solid carbonation. Easy drinking.
O: Drinkable without necessarily being overly complex, but (again) very, very drinkable. Absolutely spot on with a Bratwurst. Not a session and be careful not to treat it as such.
