Thin head, even surface, bright white, dissipates fairly quickly, however, the lacing forms broad streaks and sticks quite well. Decent clarity to the liquid, a resplendent brass orange hue, scattered bubbles which float slowly towards the surface. Huge juicy tangelo, pink grapefruit to lime citrus in the nose, splashes all over, at the same time sourdough crust, peppercorns, and tar provide contrast, the peach, nectarine, mango fruit ripe without seeming sugary, the dank hops are proportionate to the whole, stays broad shouldered for an extended period. Full-bodied, here the sweetness glues it to the tongue and the carbonation provides just a light tickle. That said, it’s strong suit remains all that juicy pink grapefruit, tangerine citrus as well as the papaya, mango, guava fruit, with a drizzle of honey on top. The tar, black tea leaf and wet cut grass again steady counterpoint and overall not that bitter. Manages the alcohol level well, no burn. There’s something simple about it in a good way, just satisfying without requiring you to think about why you like it.

Appearance: golden yellow in color with a 1" head that lasts a bit and produces some lace.

Smell: mild fruit sweetness is all you can detect.

Taste: caramel, grapefruit, lemon zest, pine, and a bit of a harsh bitterness arrives late.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp throughout with some dryness at this finish. Mildly refreshing.

Overall: this came across a bit unbalanced with the strong biting bitterness overwhelmed the rest of the flavor profile.

Thanks to TangoRad for the can. Cheers Michael.

It pours a clear gold, lots of foam, long lasting foam. Deep into the session, I still have a layer and a ring around the glass.

Tropical fruit smell with grapefruit, pine, smells pretty herbal, dank and bitter.

Grapefruit and pine mostly in the taste, kinda tropical fruity but I can't say which tropical fruit is involved. Very bitter, somewhat dank, no onions.

Nice medium mouthfeel.

Good to very good IPA.

A very good beer. Something about it reminds me of Pliny the Elder.

Sorry guys, this beer is just not that great. I was super excited to try a beer brewed in Flemington however we left pretty disappointed. I'm not sure if it's one of the particular hop strains that was used but the smell is rough, and the taste follows the same. I'm not trying to bash, I think it's great these guys have started, but definitely need to work on this double... Just wanted to give honest feedback as I've had probably 500 IPAs...

This beer is damn good.

I've had multiple 4packs of this beer and pick it up when i see it.

One of the better IPAs i've had in a while. Whereas Conclave does NE style IPAs (mostly) this beer is another spot of the IPA spectrum. Definitely worth a try and always worth picking up.

pours a hazy gold with a solid head, looks damn good if kinda light
aroma is sweet and light, slight bubblegum sweetness
flavor is unique, it's sweet yet nicely hopped. Equinox is a weird hop, it gives off a green pepper flavor/aroma which is what i'm tasting

been picking this up in cans that aren't even a week old and these are pure magic
canned 10/30/17 and enjoyed in very early November
