I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: nice dark brown, nearly black, with a finger of creamy tan foam. Dig it.
Smell: sweet and malty with a dash of roast. A little on the sweet side, but overall quite good.
Taste: roasty and sweet with a bit of dark fruit character. Really nice with a good progression as it warms.
Mouthfeel: medium rich body with a great carbonation and a very good creaminess indeed.
Overall: if you like porters on the sweeter side, this will probably work for you. It certainly works for me!
