Two 16oz cans picked up at Cairn's taproom in Kenmore, Washington.
No dating. Served in a pint glass.
Look- Clear golden amber color. Modest bright white head that quickly recedes to a thin cap, moderate lacing. Light carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Citrus (lemon, grapefruit and orange), pine, bready malt, light tropical fruit, stone fruit and grassy/spicy notes.
Taste- Similar to the nose for the most part, bright lemony citrus stands out, but the tropical and stone fruit are really muted.
Feel- Medium bodied. On the sweeter side up front with a dry lightly bitter finish, pretty well balanced. Medium carbonation on the tongue.
O- A pretty nice offering overall, at $7 a pint can I probably won't be going back to it though.
