I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery. The whole Hop Traverse series are SMaSH IPAs made with different hops; this one is the Azacca version.
Appearance: light golden hue with a touch of haze and a finger of ivory foam.
Smell: dank, rich Azacca hops with a little bit of sweetness and slightly grainy maltiness.
Taste: the hops are like in the aroma: dank, rich, earthy and rather bitter at the end. It is definitely a thing.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: an interesting IPA with an interesting hop variety. Maybe it's the novelty, but it's working for me.
