L: Black as night with a red wine glimmer where the light hits it right. The thickest frothy beige cap compared to the others sampled tonight. This cap slowly diminishes but seems to last forever.
S: Dates and other dark fruits. Bready rye malt character and a little sour or tartness.
T: Green apples. This was well covered by the other aromas but this beer is on it's way out too. How unfortunate. It does not have the best aftertaste either but is still drinkable and the best of the four I tried tonight.
F: Medium-heavy body with decent carbonation.
O: Cairn needs to work on their quality control and know when to stop serving soured beers. This is my second tonight to have achieved that characteristic granny smith apple.
