A great local place. Just the spot for a weekend beer with the spouse or some after work. Trivia night on Thursday is pretty fun too. Relaxed environment and great outdoor porch and backyard. Very family friendly. Closest thing to an English pub in America

My wife and I recently broke our COVID hiatus and decided to try this place out. I think I'd had some beer from them before at the Iowa Taproom, and driven by, but never been inside.

V (5) - I loved the Vibe here. It was 9:30 on a Friday, and was a little light on the crowd. But the facility is beautiful. If you're into Restored/Vintage stuff, this is the place for you. Even the bathrooms were beautiful.

Q (4) - We had already eaten dinner elsewhere so I just had a flight to try as many as possible. I thought they were all solid. From the Amber, to the Hazy IIPA, to the Pils. They were all good. I'd love to go back and try more at a later date.

S (4.5) - There weren't many people but the service was really good. There was only one woman working, but she didn't make anybody wait too long.

S (4.5) - They had probably 12 or 16 beers on tap. A very good variety. Some traditional, and some contemporary (pastry stouts and such). They also had some canned cider or perhaps some seltzers from other facilities. Other than that, all their own.

O (4.4) - Overall I really liked this place. It's not super close to home, but I'd come back if I were in the neighborhood. They have a big space and I could see it being really fun for a game watch or musical act of some sort. It's probably not big enough for a wedding reception, but it would be nice for a smaller event of some sort. I didn't go outside, but they do have a nice patio area which would be awesome in nicer weather.

 

Not one of the cooler breweries in central Iowa. I had one beer I really liked here, the breakfast porter is outstanding!. The selection isn't great and the vibe isn't memorable. The service is good and I would make the effort to get the breakfast porter. I live a ways away and won't go out of my way again unless they release a variant of the porter.
