Shared a crowler with the wife. Clear golden body with a white foam head that settles into a ring. Candi sugar, banana, belgian spices, fruit esters and belgian yeast make up the nose. Taste is about the same, though it has an interesting nuttiness within the fruit esters, a touch of flowers too. Good crispness to the finish for the style, smooth, sneaky bready and boozy. The wife liked it

On-tap at The Mayor of Old Town, Fort Collins, CO
A: The beer is crystal clear light yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a narrow bright white collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of candi sugar are present in the nose along with notes of bananas and hints of Belgian yeast.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of candi sugar with notes of bananas and hints of Belgian yeast.
M: It feels medium-bodied and smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is a very nice tripel. I particularly liked the aromas and flavors of bananas. It also did a very good job at masking the alcohol from the taste.
