Pours black with two fingers of tan foam. Aroma is thick and potent bourbon and barrel. Roasty, toasty, earthy, and caramelly malts form a dense imperial stout beyond the initial barrel. Medicinal hops bring the hop notes. Flavor profile is much more smooth than the aroma. Bourbon, which is quite forward, mingles with toasty and toasty malts and chocolate. Mouth feel is thick. Texture is creamy and soft for a comfortable, cozy sipping experience. Overall, boozy but solid.
