Served on tapa in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a lightly hazed copper/deep amber color with a small head of white foam. The head fades very fast leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is mainly a mix of a lightly toasted and roasted bready malt smell mixed with aromas of caramel and toffee. Along with these smells comes a touch of nut and a little bit of a grainy aroma.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready malt flavor that is lightly toasted in nature. Mixed with the breadiness is the caramel and toffee that was in the nose, with some other lighter flavors of harvest fruit and grain. Molasses flavors creep their way in through the taste, as well as a touch of nut, in the end leaving one with a malty and lightly toasted taste.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is average. For the Oktoberfest style the feel is great, balancing the malt and sweeter tastes all while making for an easy drinker.
Overall – A rather nice Oktoberfest overall. Nothing too exceptional, but well done and easy drinking in the end.

12oz canned 8/14/19, opened 9-16--19.
1/2" off white head on a good looking copper body with great clarity. Head has so-so retention on this pour, some early remnants of lacing.
Grain, feed store. Raw wort. Caramel, dark bread. Some grassy hops way back there. Malt driver.
Caramel, toasted bread, lots of sweet malt flavors.
Medium body, low carbonation. Thin body - could use just a touch more here. Drying finish to start is a surprise, residual sweetness starts to show as I make my way thru the beer.
Fresh, local example of a Marzen style Oktoberfest. Good.
