12oz can, tulip, no freshness dating (come on man!)
It sure is perty! Deep copper or peach, hazy, with a large khaki large bubbled head.
Juicy citrus and peach with hatch chili underlying it. Clearly some chili action here; vegetal, green chili, smokey.
Pretty good hazy IPA with lots of orange juice. It’s almost in milkshake territory and the chili flavor is very fresh with just the ghost of some spice, almost like barely blistered peppers.
Thin, but thick with yeast, with what I like to call a matte feel.
Different than many chili beers, this one is not about the spice. The flavor of the hatch chilis comes through very authentically and the base beer seems solid.
