12oz can, tulip, no date on can.
Auburn red with nice peachy depth to it. There’s a finger of taupe head at first.
Blackberry jam, toffee, copper kettle, berry tea.
Very jammy and rich. Rich malt, rich fruit, dark berries, red berries, and toffee cookie. There’s a solid bitterness.
Silky, soft, and a bit coating.
This definitely leans to the fruity side of English. The malt is sweet and rich, not bready or ottery. It’s good, it’s intriguing, and it’s a nice change of pace.
