Pours dark amber with a quickly fading white head.
Nose shows DMS, soft sweet malt, cidery notes and faint nutty malt.
Better flavours. More prominent nutty malt and some spicy hops. Still a faint cidery note in there though.
Body feels a little watery.

This pours a dark golden colour with a little head which all but disappears quite quickly.

Some nice tropical fruit aromas in there. Bit of pineapple perhaps? Occasionally get an "off" note in there which isn't particularly pleasant. Not as hoppy as I would ecpect for an IPA.

The hops do come through a bit on the palate but still not to IPA level. Bitterness is quite moderate.

Medium bodied.

A fairly average ale.

Deep amber and hazy if you dont keep, out the sediment.
The light brown head persisted.
The smell is flowery hops. The tastes melds well with early syrupy malts being overtaken by pleasant fruity bitterness.
The mouthfeel is full and satisfying.
Very drinkable but the restaurant (in the Yarra Valley) ran out
I could settle in by the fire and get right into this one

easily the pick of buckleys beers. just short of being a real ripper, but still a pretty good brew.

amber in color with a whitish head that lacks retention. smells slighly fuity. has a real bubblegum presence, and floral hops. brings a good malt backbone, again some bubblegum tastes and hints of stone fruits. finishes with bold hops that are quite dry and bitter and holds up the beer very nicely. firm bodied brew that is overall balanced and a great drinking experience. could call itself an IPA but wisely classifies itself in the correct genre.

buckleys are a brewer that has great promise and will only get better with time. this beer shows a glimpse of what they are truly capable of. very nice.

Pretty good, fruity flavours (mango, some citrus), not big on body though, hoppy finish, lightly aromatic, with a dry finish, not too bad in the end, better than their bitter ale without question, must resample one day, as this was one of the last beers i had at the Aussie Beer festival in 2002. I remember it being pretty good though.
