Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a semi-dark burnt orange almost brown color with a half finger’s worth of foamy head. Light speckled lace. The aroma had some roasted malts, light nuts and a mild caramel/toffee sweetness. Slight earthy to floral hoppiness bumping in at the end. The flavor yielded to the roast initially and then developed a gentle sort of earthy/floral hoppiness to just a touch of maltiness in the aftertaste. Finishes with some light milk chocolate. The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Some crisp carbonation hits my tongue but has a decent ABV hitting about. Overall, good brown ale worthy of having again.
