Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a ruddy amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a moderate pace. Light messy lace. The aroma had some floral to earthy bright hops, light grassy and herbal notes with a nice balancing sweet and roasty nutty to caramel backbone. Some biscuit/breadiness slides in underneath. The flavor leaned into the malt sweetness initially and eventually blended a bit more as it warmed. Nicely blended aftertaste and finish. The feel was about medium bodied with a pretty good sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. ABV felt good. Fairly smooth along my tongue. Overall, pretty good Irish red ale that I could have again.
