On tap at Cookie 19/3/08.
A - Poured into a shitty little pot glass a hazy dark orange colour with a centimetre of off white head that hangs out for a fair while. Big lacing left down the glass.
S - Biscuit maltiness backed up by wood pine & spice notes. Some floral and citrus fruit also comes out as it warms.
T - Intense piney resin from Chinook hops no doubt backed up by some wonderful fresh citrus & floral hops. Nice biscuity and caramel maltiness keeps things balanced.
M - Medium to full bodied with a fairly low carbonation.
D - This is one dangerous - in a good way - DIPA. Very tasty yet the 9.5%ABV is hidden. I'm sure after a few pints that would hit. Maybe 2 pint limit.
I really hope this becomes a regular seasonal!!!
I can't wait to try this soon in a glass suited to the style.
