16 oz can, picked up from Beer Snobs in Evansville, IN.
No date on the can anywhere.
DDH with Citra, Mosaic, and Calypso. A great combo IMO.
Calusa snifter.
Pours a glowing golden body, juicy in appearance, with light flecks of sediment, and a tall west-coast-like head of 3 fingers. Leaves tons of lace obliterating the glass as it recedes very slowly to a finger.
Aroma is pineboard sawdust and orange juice - seems to be a tug of war between those two, with hints of mango and coconut cream.
Flavor is green with hop dust, cannabis, and sawdust - then it moves to more pleasant flavors of creamy mango and orange peel, and ends on a distinct Hawaiian Punch note. This is quite a unique beer.
Feel is oily and crisp, with a medium body and no sign of alcohol anywhere. Slight resin on the finish, but it's eclipsed by the juiciness. Has a really long finish.
Overall, a little bit of a struggle to drink this one as it's so intense, but it's tasty nonetheless. I jumped into this brewery's cans completely blindfolded, as I left my phone in the car. It has been a good experience. Nothing I've had from THBC so far has been bad. They seem to know what they're doing.
Price paid : $3.99 / can

I'm trying this beer at the brewery. It poured a hazy yellow with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical fruit peel presence that helps to mask the higher abv. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.
