Before the advent of modern science, brewing was considered sorcery, or at best an act of god. To celebrate that history, we introduce a new hop, Sabro. Mystical in its complexity, notes of tangerine, coconut, tropical fruit, mint, and cream will have you second guessing modern science.

16 oz can, no date, into EBC Teku.
DDH Pale Ale with Sabro Hops.
Pours a juicy thick glowing amber color with a creamy head of 2 fingers, receding and leaving fuzzy lace behind.
Mint, pine, and pineapple are evident right away on the aroma. A little bit of coconut follows. Intriguing.
Flavor brings grassy pine and subtle OJ with hints of coconut cream and pineapple behind it. The hops are here. Just a hint of spoilage. It's definitely a 5% beer though, it drinks a bit slim.
Flavor is medium bodied, heavily carbonated, lightens up on the finish, with mild alcohol heat and slight lingering resin.
Overall, a pretty decent DDH Pale Ale that does what it sets out to do. Likely not a repeat purchase for me, but still pretty darn playful for a single pale ale.
Price paid : $3.19 / can
Would buy again : nah
