Smooth classic brown ale with a hint of dark chocolate malt flavors. We engineer our water to match London’s water chemistry. See why England loves their Brown Ales?

Definitely brown color, but not dark like a stout. Off-white to tan head. Good malt fragrance on nose. Nice pretty flavor smooth across the palate.

Poured from a can dated 8/24 into the test glass.
A - Red cedar, rust colored brown, nice clarity and gentle carbonation. A quick to exit cap can be coaxed out with some
effort.
S - Lightly roasted malt, an ever so slight hint of brown sugar, some earthy notes from the hops, Goldings and Fuggle maybe.
T - Just enough toasted malt, the flavors reside in a narrow band, with some nuttiness on the edges.
M - Light in body, a sweet start is quickly dried out, the carbonation is easy, acting as tour guide rather than usher. Lingering on are just enough dark rye toast notes to keep the experience interesting
O - A well done brown ale, A style I really enjoy. This offering is screaming cask condition, The packaged version is plenty enjoyable, and pairs well with this fall weather.
