A West Coast India Pale Ale balanced with late hop additions lending great hop flavor of citrus & grapefruit with a touch of malty sweetness.

Very copper in color with tight white head. Nose is citrus and mango maybe pineapple. Taste was a little lackluster. Not much citrus or pine on the front end. On the back end is a decent amount of bitterness which almost makes up for previous sentence.

From an undated 16oz can but am sure it was brewed this year. From the Artisinal website: “Derailleur is an homage to our roots brewing in the old Serotta bike factory. This highly drinkable IPA is inspired by West Coast IPAs while being influenced by the less astringent NEIPAs that are so popular today. It showcases wonderful old-school hops like Amarillo, Cascade, and Simcoe.” West Coast in style, but less bitter as described.

Beer Advocate lists this as "retired" but I got a growler filled on Jan 13, 2018. It's also currently listed on the brewery web site.
Taste: no bitterness at all; a slight grapefruit flavor.

-cider-colored tap pour with very little visible carbonation No lacing on draws. Minimal aroma ( or that is just me today). There is moderate hop bitterness up front, a bit of sweetness and a prominent malt presence. I expect that this recipe may get adjusted a bit.
