Can to English pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking dark brown color in the center and gently touching the edges with a lighter shade of brown closer to the top and sides of the glass. Just a film of a little white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Lace was just a slim semi-coating of film glossing the sides of the glass.
The aroma captured a wonderful blend of roasty coffee beans, a clean silky smooth sweet milk chocolate, earthy and grassy hops. Super light dark chocolate ever so faintly.
The flavor was a mix of the milk and dark chocolate bouncing on the earthy to grassiness that seemed to collide from sweet to bitter and then move in a semi-silky dry manner together on into the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied as it seemed to sit just a touch under to provide a very nice sessionability about it. Carbonation felt on par. ABV felt as projected. Finish was slightly dry with a pinch of some cocoa powder and a little bit of earthiness.
Overall, as an English styled brown ale, this was well done.
