Served from the can in a snifter.
Our final portal, Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm style, puts us firmly in Irish Cream territory. This stuff pours a straight onyx topped by a finger of khaki foam. The nose comprises mild roasted malts, vanilla, light caramel, and a touch of cocoa powder. The taste brings in more of the same, the Irish cream extract only barely registering as such, the effect more closely following something like a salted caramel or thereabouts, with plenty of vanilla to make things go. The body is a lithe medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a mostly smooth feel. Overall, another nice stout, just one that doesn't really showcase the advertised flavors as much as one might think. Both VDubb and I found the whole mixed 4-pack to be fine, but nothing to go out of our way for, and, at worst, the flavors just didn't quite mesh.
