A: color is orange-amber and haze is through the roof! As opaque and juicy-looking as it gets. Poured a half-finger wide head which reduced to a delicate foam collar around the glass. Minimal lacing, surprisingly.
S: subtle aromas of ripe peach skins, white grape, candied lime peel, and fresh gooseberry. Noticeable but subdued yeast presence. A very intriguing nose.
T: a ticking hop bomb. First impression is of a tropical accord consisting of papaya and melon, but that fades away and leaves a fantastically creamy harmony of white grape and gooseberry. The Nelson Sauvin hops certainly seem to dominate above all. Crisp, yet creamy, and very refreshing. Bitterness is moderate but doesn't stick to the tongue. Ethanol is dominant but not overpowering.
M: pleasantly creamy and thick texture, but still remains characteristically IPA-like in this category. Carbonation is low-moderate even immediately after crackin' it open.
O: another really great brew from Artisanal. This TIPA had some very nice attributes that I commonly look for in a quality beer, and the overall experience was great. I highly recommend this beer and will be enjoying the remaining 3 cans!
