Welch's grape juice has much more color to it than this, but not nearly the aroma. This was determined after a pint can was decanted into a clear glass Imperial pint mug. It all fit nicely, as there's virtually no head, despite good carbonation. The color is a semi-opaque dark violet. It smells grapey, like grape soda, but more pronounced. But, it's not exactly like grape juice, maybe more like a grape flavored candy. That's it, it tastes like a grape sour candy. It has the same flavors, definitely grape, in a sweet and sour medium. The difference maybe hard to distinguish and describe, but this is more tart than sour. This is thin bodied, like many of its style, but relatively alcohol taste free. Another example of why to not drink hard seltzer when there are beers that are similar, but better. Expectantly, there was no glass lacing. Yet, this fulfills its attempt at mimicking a sweet treat well. If something like this is intriguing, give it a try.
