16 ounce can, no dating that I noticed on the label or can. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this can! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half frothy tan head that stuck around a long time. Decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like vanilla, roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. The taste pretty much follows the aroma, but with the addition of some dark bready flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy and has a lot of soft carbonation. Not quite to the point of being too carbonated though. I liked this one, certainly worth a try if you like vanilla stouts!

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This decent little brew pours a dark blackish brown
with a nice head of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring and layer with nice lacing.
Nose of light vanilla, dark chocolate, light char, and dark malts amongst medium coffee
notes. Flavors follow the nose with dark coffee, vanilla, light char, dark roast, and subtle
char. Mouth feel is medium full, medium carbonation, and a bitter malt finish.
Overall, the mouthfeel was the only real knock I have on it, a touch thin, and evidently
reduced in ABV from the other reviews to make it lighter.
On the plus, it is not a pastry brew and more of a standard stout that would work for a good
session.
Cheers

Very much a gusher, producing nearly all foam even with a careful, measured pour.
Smell is initially a touch sharp and metallic, featuring the coffee and little else, but once it settles down in the glass, a rich wave of chocolate and vanilla emerges. Intriguing.
A bit of bite up front, paired with a smooth but very light mouthfeel. Really lacks the heft you might want. Despite the rich nose, it comes across more bitter than sweet. Notes of prune, red grape, toast, coffee. The vanilla comes on strong on the back half, but it never plays with the coffee and chocolate to give the impression of a "delectable, boozy Vanilla Mocha in a can." Too much sting on the palate to really savor.
This isn't a bad coffee stout, and it's a nice change up from the standards like Founders Breakfast Stout, but it falls short of expectations, hopes, and advertisement.
