On draft at brewery
Clear amber color, white head that fades. Nice dank earthy hop aroma. Moderately bitter, good flavor balance with the caramel malt flavor. Medium bodied. Sticky.

This pretty well covers the gamut of styles, but it’s some kind of hoppy Red Ale. Very attractive coppery red color with a modest foam in the chalice. Quite malty, and every sip starts with that slightly sweet warmth.
Moderately bitter and a little astringent. Hops are dankish with some leafy murk and the bitter aftertaste. Hints of pencil shavings, both the cedar and graphite flavors somehow. Overall this is a better than average Red Ale, more of an IPA with a nice dose of malt. From the 32 oz growler filled at the brewery.
