Clear amber brew in the Affligem chalice with plenty of foam. Substantial malty body. Peach and honeysuckle aromas. A pleasant alcohol tang. Sharpish but not overly acidic. Hugely aromatic and deeply flavorful.
Flavor is grilled mango. Some bitter orange marmalade. Warm malt with just enough bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall it's thoroughly fruity in the nicest way. This is surely the nicest DIPAs I've encountered in Washington. Strong but well balanced and not excessively bitter for all the hops. From the 32 oz growler filled at the tasting room on Hwy 20.
