This is described as a "hazy IPA," and indeed it is. Pale yellowish with an enthusiastic foam in the tall Timmermans goblet. Pleasant light peach and lemon hints in the aroma. Dry fruity flavor with a bitter edge.
Modestly malty mouthfeel with the typical murky IPA thickness of these hazy brews. It gets more bitter into the aftertaste. The hop flavor is good but there is a fair amount of gunkiness, that taste of hop slurry and grainy yeast. It seems well made and the persistent touch of mango is nice, but not my favorite from Bastion. From the 32 oz growler purchased at the brewery.
