Clear orangey amber with a nice pile of foam in the Maredsous goblet. Clean grainy aroma. Flavor is mellow and mild with just enough caramel. Malty as per the style but sweetness is moderate. Not really much hop taste and just a hint of bitterness in the aftertaste.
Distinct cereal taste but mild, and the slight tangy edge is just right to go with the malt. Overall this is a better than average Oktoberfest. Brewed with a variety of malts. Hops are German Tettnanger. From the 32 oz growler filled at the brewery.
