Clear golden amber with ample foam in the wine glass. Malty body and plenty of spritz. Warm and wheaty tasting, like cereal. Quite aromatic with herbal and flowery hops. Smells like alfalfa and a touch of mint. This is more bitter than I would think for a Japanese Rice Lager, but it does have a good flavor. Actually it's quite hoppy, and the rice flavor is not so prominent. Rather crisp with a winey note and grainy cereal in the aftertaste. A decent hoppy Lager, overall. From the 32 oz growler purchased at the brewery bar.
