the brewer should have let this idea through to the keeper as they clearly lack the skill to pull off a honey wheat. this beer has no idea what its doing.
has a rich honey color and foamy head that looked pretty good, but i could also tell it lacked body and had far too much carbonation. this later proved to be the case. would you beleive this smelled like honey? there was some hops hanging around, but nothing thats worth getting excited about. really this tasted like a bad lager with a spoonful of honey in it. no balance, no backbone. it was pretty crisp, but also had a cloying finish that suggested the presence of citrus hoppiness on the nose, but i couldnt have found it in the flavor with a telescope. too fizzy, too much honey, not enuff sweet flavors from the wheat and not full enuff in body.
i find beers like this laffable. they take themselves so seriously and end up nothing more than an embarrassing joke. if i was these fellows id be going back to being accountants or lawyers or whatever it was they did before getting into this venture, and leave the brewing to someone who knows what theyre doing.

A very pale light clear yellow colour with no head and low carbonation.
Aromas? No real aromas except an odd honey-meets-herbal kind of smell that is not overly nice.
Taste is unappealling at best. A foul tart honey taste loads up the front palate then nothing...it all just disappears. Aftertaste is the herbal/green flavour rearing its ugly head again.
Seriously bad beer. How do they release this stuff?

This beer kinda annoyed me, being my first Honey Wheat, i wasn't expecting much, because i thought the two would not go together. I did not enjoy this brew at all, although i remember myself thinking "you didn't like Stouts the first time you drank one either, give it a go". Well by the end of the beer i still didn't like it, although it did improve a little when it warmed a bit. Tastes of Honey or course, but as for the wheat beer, i couldn't taste that it was a wheat for some reason. Overall, bland wheat with honey added to "try" to inhance the flavour.

promising aroma, but below average beer, not much taste (slight honey taste and aroma). Very thin almost cloying mouthfeel. Which made it extremely annoying to drink. I guess you could argue that it would have its moments on a hot day and all that, but i could think of so many better beers that are more refreshing, more complex and definitely more enjoyable (gueuze lambics? fruit lambics?).
