ive had this on tap before and wasnt all that impressed. they have just put this out in bottles and i must say it was actually better than i had previously recalled it being.
nothing too different in the appreance stakes, but i will say it has a fair saaz hops presence thats far more legit than most other aussie beers that claim to use this hops in its beers, and that includes micros. has a reasonable malt aroma with a hoppy smell that suggests that there really is saaz included here. taste isnt anything more than basic, but again there is a hop presence that gives this beer a little more than most of its competitors. fairly crisp, and not offensive in its impact on the palate.
its overpriced for is quality, but i still dont think its a bad brew. funny thing is is its better from the bottle than the tap. maybe that says it all.

One would assume that here downunder, we aussies with our stinking hot weather and our love for beer we could at least get a style like Pilsener right. Well apart from a few beer nationwide we got Masthead with their poor example of how bad the Micro industry is in australia. This beer is very thin, extremly boring, although the nice creamy head tries to save this beer it falls very short on my "to drink" list.

Very weak and watery, but surprisingly you can taste a bit of saaz, but not much, weak watery texture. another boring aussie beer, bloody hell. Well, perhaps a bit better, i didn't particularly have high hopes for this beer, but i would have hoped for something slightl better.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
