12 oz. pour on draught at the brewery. It resembles orange juice with its turbidity and bright orange color. It boasts a half finger of creamy, milk-white head and thick lacing. The nose is more sedate with lemon, lime, and subtle floral hops. Its taste opens with abundant fruit: lemon, grapefruit, and orange/tangerine over a base of crackery malt. The mosaic hops are used to excellent effect and the Simcoe provide earthy bitterness. The Centennial hops are used for bittering and add a pungent flavor. It's thick and creamy with appropriate carbonation, and the 8.5% ABV gives it a lot of substance. Overall, Where My Shades At? is quite good but it's not among Ludlam Islands best IPAs, e.g., The Big Dirty and Water, Guns and Rainbows.
