2023 release. Poured from undated can into a snulip glass. It pours a dirty pastel yellow with almost a finger of creamy, milk-white head and thick, soapy lacing. The nose is mostly lemon and soft floral hops. The American 2-Row malt is front and center and give the ale an initial cracker malt taste that is augmented by the Grüngeist hops that deliver tart lemon and lime notes There is little hop bitterness nor sweetness yet the ale is highly refreshing and drinkable. The mouth feel is crisp and lite with pleasant carbonation, and at 7% ABV it's highly drinkable. This is really a summertime beer and I'm drinking it in November but it's still enjoyable and brewed for a great cause.
